Why does my PowerRake keep losing power? First the receiver goes dead and then the drive motors and head lift function stops working. If the machine sits for about 20 minutes it will run again, but only for a few minutes. The battery and charging system will check out fine. The 50 amp relay's will check out fine and all breakers will be working good..


First check to see if the machine will rock side to side using the switch on the dash. If this function is still working and all other functions are not, you will need to by-pass the power filter inside the dash panel (Operators panel). Start by cutting the wires on each side of the power filter. These wires are blue and red. Connect both wires together leaving the Power filter out of the loop. Start machine and run all functions.
