Our staff averages 6 years of experience with Somero and we travel the world to assist our customers.

Customer Support Representatives are based out of 2 different offices: Houghton, Michigan, USA and Chesterfield, England.

Jim Desrochers

Jim started with Somero in 1999 in the Engineering group. In 2001 he joined the Customer Support team.

Roger Kangas

Roger has been with Somero since 1988 and in the Customer Support group since 1992. He has a wealth of experience in all areas of the manufacturing, production, and computer systems within the company.

Lee Knuuttila

Lee joined the Somero team in 1995 with experience in the construction industry. He's been the leader of the parts department and worked in all aspects of customer support.

Darrin Luukkonen

Darrin has been with Somero since 1995. In manufacturing, he's helped build everything from Topping Spreaders to CopperHeads. He joined the Service team in 1998.

Jim Brandt

Jim brings his extensive experience from the manufacturing plant into Customer Support. Jim has helped build every model Laser Screed we make!

John Knuuttila

John has worked in our technical publications group working on our detailed parts manuals for our equipment. He also has extensive experience working as our parts analyst.

Jim Chapin

Jim joined Somero in July 2005. He has experience building CopperHeads, PowerRakes, and refurbishing S-240s.

Jon Rautio

Jon joined Somero in October of 2006. He brings along years of experience working on hydraulic and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Brad Pennala

Brad joined Somero in 1998. After working in all areas of the plant, Brad spent the last 6 years in our shipping department. Brad will help you come up with creative solutions to your special parts needs.

Paul Moyryla

Paul joined Somero in July 2007. Paul has experience working on Construction sites across the United States.
