Somero Onsite Training

Somero offers billable Onsite Training opportunities for those too busy to join us for training at the Somero Concrete Institute (SCI) in sunny Fort Myers, FL.  Training is available for all Oasis Control machines, the 3D Profiler System, and SiteShape. With Onsite Training, we will send our expert Field Support Professionals, who will travel to your job site and provide training and support for you and your operators. Billable onsite training is also available as part of a product purchase. Contact your Territory Manager to learn more about your options.

Laser Screed “Oasis Basics”

This is for NEW operators, who’ve never screeded, graded or used our equipment before; or operators changing control systems
( i.e. – they’ve run only PA or GCS controls, now going to Oasis controls) .                 Course # ONSITE OASIS SCREED

  • Machine & Jobsite Safety
  • Machine controls, control system (laser gear) overview & components
  • Machine walk around
  • Dry Runs on the first day
  • Job site situations, setting transmitter, screed patterns
  • Benchmarks, transferring grade to machine, machine setup
  • Elevation control system, trouble shooting
  • Setting up the screed head
  • Factory Specs
  • Maintenance, Cleaning
  • Live in the concrete – Your job on the second day

3D “Basics”  Version 14+ with Panasonic Toughbook, with Laser Screed

This reviews the “Basics” needed for NEW operators or Existing operators with older/previous 3D systems. Please note: Software versions makes a huge difference. Make sure you verify the system you’re using.                Course # 3D ONSITE VS 14
